We wish our customers and partners a great summer

During weeks 29, 30 and 31 our production department is closed for summer vacation. However, the administration will remain open throughout the summer.

We return to normal production and service in week 32 and look forward to serving both our existing and new customers with the same commitment and quality we always strive to deliver.

We are expanding

We are experiencing significant growth and are expanding our facilities with a new hall dedicated to storing our raw materials. Construction of our new 1,800 square meter hall began on 5 August 2019 as part of our ongoing optimization of space in our 8 existing production halls.

We look forward to integrating a new rod tip section into the new hall, which will improve and streamline the storage and handling of the significant amounts of raw materials we use daily. This expansion marks a step forward in our ability to meet our customers’ needs and ensure continued growth and success.

The award for 2019 trainee goes to…

Mette Bak Jensen, Industrial Technician at REA Automatdrejning, was awarded the Apprenticeship Award 2019. On Wednesday, March 13, 2019, the Confederation of Danish Industry and Morten Andersen, Mayor of Nordfyn Municipality, presented the award to Mette. Mette, who will soon graduate as an industrial technician from Syddansk Erhvervsskole, will continue her career with us in a permanent position after completing her apprenticeship in May.

REA Automatdrejning prioritizes ensuring access to skilled employees in the future. We therefore have around 10 apprentices in training at a time. Competition for skilled industrial technicians is fierce, which is why we invest in training our own employees and do our best to retain them for the long term.

With annual growth rates of 3-4% and a continued growth trend, we at REA are extra happy and motivated. The award was presented to Peter Nielsen on behalf of REA, and we share the honor with all our dedicated employees whose efforts and professional skills have been crucial to our success.

Visit from Østfyns productionschool

REA strives to stay connected and close to the next generation of mechanical engineers. That’s why every year we open our doors to relevant educational institutions, giving young people the opportunity to experience our production and get answers to their questions about working life as part of REA.

In November, it was Østfyns Produktionsskole that came to visit. They arrived in a cool bus and it turned into several hours filled with exciting discussions and a lot of laughter. We see it as an important part of our responsibility as a company to inspire and motivate future generations of mechanical engineering professionals. It is our hope that such visits can help spark interest and give young people an insight into the opportunities that await them in our industry

Family day at REA

Our debut family gathering, organized in collaboration with the staff association, was an eventful and memorable evening that will be remembered for a long time to come. It was characterized by an atmosphere of togetherness and community, with nearly 200 family members and friends of our valued employees gathering at REA.

Amidst happy laughter and warm conversations, moments were created that will be remembered as part of the company’s history. Children played and enjoyed themselves, while parents and friends enjoyed each other’s company and shared stories and experiences. Various activities and competitions were also organized, which created even more life and engagement among the participants.

It was a night filled with smiles and memories, where our employees’ families and friends became an integral part of REA’s extended family. We are grateful for the great support and commitment shown by everyone involved and we look forward to repeating this success in the future.
