Better Tool Management Behind the Production Process
With more than 140 CNC machines in production, REA relies on a lot of tooling. A lot.
Tool management has therefore been an essential part of our daily operations for many years. We are now taking the next step with two RotoFlex Smart Vending machines from SupplyPoint, supplied in partnership with OSG Scandinavia.
The new vending machines will make it easier to manage our tooling inventory and ensure that the right tools are available when and where they are needed on the shop floor.
Implementation is well underway, and the next step is to fully integrate the vending machines into our daily workflow.
For us, this investment is another small but important step in the continuous development of our production processes. Because even with more than 140 CNC machines, efficient production isn’t just about the machines themselves. Everything that supports them matters, too.
